I had the lemon herb chicken and I definitely recommend! It's fantastic! Only complaint was we wanted the appetizer tenderloin bites and they were out and my husband was planning on having lobster mac n cheese but no longer on the menu once we got there. Not a big deal he also enjoyed his meal which was the pork ribeye. Very nice atmosphere and good service.

Lovely atmosphere with subdued lighting and fairly quiet. Our server was just the right amount of attentive. The food was delicious.

The restaurant is in an old bank which still has the old vault in it. If you plan to go for dinner, it would be a good idea to make a reservation. It was very busy when we arrived at 6:30 pm we didn't have to wait. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Jim ordered The Beast. It is a 1/4 bison, wagyu beef, wild boar, and elk with a side order of French fries. I ordered the Cajun Pasta. It was very tasty with just enough heat to enjoy. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only drawback is the parking. The best thing to do is to figure out parking beforehand.

Building used to be a bank called the German Bank by the carved stone high over the door. They have a big vault door in the eating area as well. Ordered the Cajun Pasta and it was great!! Family ordered other things and said it was really really good. Our server was excellent as well. If your ever in Dubuque Iowa, definitely stop and try this place out..

I have honestly never had a bad meal at The vault. I have had most of the items on the menu and they were all delicious! I love their steaks seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. I told my waitress, do you know how I knew I was going to receive a great steak? She smiled and said no, how? There's no steak sauce on any of the tables and nobody asks for any sauces because the steaks are delicious as is. The people are always friendly and helpful. They always come by to refill your drink or just to ask if you need anything and clear your table before bringing your dessert, that's a great waitress for sure. Their chef and cooks are incredible, TOP OF THE LINE in my opinion. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I always have a virgin bloody Mary with my steak, it compliments it very well to me. I quit drinking alcohol many years ago, but their virgin cocktails are very delicious to me. My sincere thanks to everyone at The Vault.

We came here after college graduation on May 3rd and the place as packed! Our server was very attentive and all of the food was cooked to the right temp and the tiramisu was very good. The filet was only 34 very reasonable priced.

Just happen to pop in and a table was available to dine. The food was amazing and Anastasia was excellent with greeting us and helping us what to pick out to eat. My wife had the Salmon was to die for she said. I had the Lemon Herb chicken and that was tasty! Thank you all for a great dinning out and we will be back again! Do not miss a chance to have a meal here! Husband and I had the most amazing dinner. Everything was exceptionally delicious! Spinach dip was mouth watering. The Caesar salad had a homemade dressing that was to die for. The chicken Parmesan was cooked to perfection. The chicken was super moist, there was so much food, I couldn't eat it all. My husband had the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich. It was so good. He's been talking about it all day. Our server Taylor also gets 5 out of 5 stars. Attentive, efficient, and friendly. We will be back.
